GAOL FOR ONE MONTH.
Andrew Hokia, a Maori, was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment with hard labour at the Kaitaia gaol on Monday morning on a charge of having used obscene language in the main street, Kaitaia, on Saturday. There were previous convictions against the accused.
