GRIPS AND FISTS AT STADIUM
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 24
A wrestling contest at Leichhardt Stadium last evening between Lurich and the Indian, Haban Singh, ended in a draw.' The most striking incident was Lurich’s attack on the Chinese wrestler, Wong Buk Cheung, who was a spectator at the Press table. Lurich, in the third round, transferred his attention to Cheung, and attempted to secure a body scissors. Cheung threw him off, and at the end of Lurich’s bout with Haban Singh the Chinese jumped into the ring and challenged Lurich, who thrust his hand into the Chinese wrestler’s face. Cheung knocked him down, whereupon Lurich crawled through the ropes and retired to his dressing room.
