—J. A. Clark (Whangarei) won the champion, of champions tourney at the Portland Bowl-
ing green on Saturday,
The event is conducted yearly under the auspices of the North Auckland Bowling Centre, the venue this time being Portland, where a large number of bowlers and enthusiasts gathered to witness a series of closely fought contests. The greens were in excellent order, the champion club players coming from all over the North. H. Williams (Russell) was unable to attend.
