SPORTS 'DANCE. The Maungaturoto annual sports I. dance, held oh Thursday evening in «the Maungaturoto Public Hall, was, as -usual, a bright and successful func- ■ tion. Dancers from all parts of the " district 'were present, and danced to a late hour to excellent music. Under the able management of Mr Les Snel- ‘ ' ling as M.C., the programme went very enjoyably. Healey is the guest of Mrs Allen, Green Lane. Mrs Young, of Auckland, is visiting Maungaturoto, and is spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs J. Cockerton. Miss W. Jones, of Moerewa, Bay of Islands, is staying with her aunt, Mrs H. Smith. Miss M. Skelton is spending a holiday with her people at Pahi. Mr and Mrs H. Worthington spent the week-end at their seaside residence at Pahi, Miss Massey, of Papakura, is enjoying an extended holiday with Mrs lon, at Waikopeko Creek, Mossy Valley. Mrs Causer and Miss Causer are spending a holiday at Onerahi.
