LOS ANGELES, February 4.

The visiting Australian golfers played American opponents on fairly even terms in this round of the international matches on the Lakewood Club course. During the afternoon, however, they faltered,. the Americans won all the matches. The scores were: —Runyan and Parks defeated Richardson and Cohen 3 and 1, Cooper and Smith defeated Bolger and Kelly 5 and 4, Picard and Dutra defeated Ted and Geo. Naismith 4 and 3.
