FLOOD DAMAGE IN HOKIANGA [Special to “Northern Advocate”! KOHUKOHU, This Day. The main roads from Rawene to Kaikohe and from Rawene to Dargaville are now clear, while all side roads are blocked by heavy slips. The Kohukohu-Motukaraka road, it is estimated, will take two weeks to clear ‘and repair, as, in parts, the road has slipped away. The Broadwood-Kohukohu road is blocked, but may be clear /'by the week-end. The engineer of the Hokianga County Council estimates that the total damage will exceed £IO,OOO. Several bridges have been damaged.
