' COMPARATIVE FIGURES FOR AUCKLAND SALES [Special to “Northern Advocate £] AUCKLAND, This Day. j It is estimated that the second Auckland wool sale season, held on January 21, was worth from £300.000 to, £325,000 to growers in the province. Cheques were distributed yesterday, which was the prompt date, but brokers have not completed their summary of the aggregate x’esftilts. The estimated return of over £300,000 compares with £168.096 realised at the'second Auckland sale last season, and £455,455 at an exceptionally good offering in January, 1934. The cheque for the first sale of the current season in December was £240,154. Thus, the proceeds from the two sales so far held amount to about £550,000. Last season the first two sales returned £ 256,346, and in 1933-34, £783,149.
