SWIMMERS’ CLUB NIGHT
The Whangarei Swimming Club had the largest number of swimmers for some considerable time at its club night last evening. Members are now in training for the carnival next week. Results were:— Junior boys, 66 2-3 yards handicap.— R. Webb (3sec) 1, D. Coote (scr) 2, W. Tobin (6s) 3. Ten started. Men’s 50 yards handicap.—B. Belcher (2sec) and F. Collins (3sec), equal, 1;‘ N. F. Chissell (3sec) 3. Eight starters.
