MOUNT EGMONT AND AUSTRALIA
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 8, In order to emphasise the geographical relationship between New Plymouth and Sydney, particularly from the point of view of trans-Tasman flights, and as a gesture of good will, photographs of Mt. Egmont have been presented to the Lord Mayor of Sydney, the Chamber of Commerce and other Sydney organisations by the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, New Plymouth Borough Council, and other Taranaki bodies. The photographs at present are being displayed in Sydney.
