Pukepoto. '■-Mrs Joe Foster, of Peria, is spending an extended vacation in Pukepoto, and is the guest of Mrs Shirley Masters! Mrs A. Coulter has returned to her home in Fairburn, after spending a holiday with friends in Pukepoto. .Ahipara. • i Mrs Percy Edwards and family, of Broadwood, are camping at the Ahipar.a Beach. Mrs Strack, of Kaitaia, accompanied by her three grandchildren, is a guest at the Ahipara Boardinghouse. * 111 s|: HI Takahue. Mr and Mrs Val Beazley left on Tuesday to spend a few days at Houhora. ;" Miss E. Thorpe and Miss Gallaugher are also visiting Houhora. Mrs S. White, of Wanganui, is visiting her son in Takahue. Misses E„ M. and B. White, of Wanganui, are the guests of their brother, Mr N. White, of Takahue. Messrs. S. Gleeson and R. Eragey, ot Palmerston North, are the guests of Mr D. Baraks. * * * * Summer Sports Meet. A tennis match played between the members of the Takahue tennis and cricket teams resulted in a win for the tennis club by seven sets to two. * * * * Kohukohu. Miss L. Moore has returned to Kohukohu from a holiday spent in Auckland; Mr and Mrs George Stevens, who were married recently in Auckland, have taken up their residence with Mr and Mrs T. Hartley.
Mrs Alf. Hartley is spending some weeks with her parents, Mr and Mrs P. Dolbell.
Mr and Mrs W. Marr and family have returned from Dargaville, where they have been visiting relatives. Mr Newton Hartley has returned from a visit to Whangarei. Mr Len Keyes has arrived back from Auckland, where he has been on holiday. Mr and Mrs Jack Walters have returned from Auckland.
