PROCEEDS OVER £329,643 AVERAGE PER BALE, £l2. [Per Press Association.—Copyright .] WELLINGTON, This Day. Results of the December wool sales at Wellington are announced by the Woolbrokers’ Association. A total of 30,434 bales was offered, and 26,157 were sold, 4277 being passed in. The gross proceeds amounted to £329,643. The average price per bale was £l2 12/OJ, and the average per lb, 8.33 d. At the corresponding sale in December. 1934, there were 15,591 bales offered, and 12,633 sold. The gross proceeds were £112,308, the average return per bale being £8 17/9, and per lb, 5.983 d.
