TOMORROW NIGHT’S CONCERT

BY THE KAIKOHE MUSICAL SOCIETY. AN EXCELLENT PROGRAMME. The Kaikohe Musical Society will present its second annual concert at the Regent Theatre tomorrow night. Assisting the society will be the newly-formed Kaikohe Orchestral Society. The orchestra will render well-known • selections, as well as assisting the choir.

Under special engagement to the choir, three well-known Northern artists will assist. Miss Edna Langmuir, of Whangarei, and of monologue fame, will have an excellent repertoire. Mr Geo. Bingon, the violinist, also ot Whangarei, will give solos, and a local artist, Mr Donald, should be equally as well received with similar items. The society is fortunate in securing the services of Mr Lawrence Middlewick, of Kawakawa, who has achieved no little success as a tenor. The members have been practising assiduously during the winter months, and it is certain that last year’s excellent programme will be eclipsed.
