Purua
The monthly meeting of the Purua Institute was held in the hall. A special meeting of settlers was called to find ways and means of improving the local hall. The Institute is devoting itself in future to raising money to help provide a new piano and supper room necessities.
Arrangements were made for the fourth birthday party. It is to take the form of a social afternoon. Mrs Thomas was appointed delegate to attend the council meeting.
