AIRCRAFT REGULATIONS
’PLANES FROM OVERSEAS. [Per Press Association.—Copyright.! WELLINGTON, This Day. In future, aircraft arriving in New Zealand from beyond- the seas shall not land in the Dominion for the first time ill any journey, except at a Customs aerodrome, except with the prior permission of the Controller of Customs, according to a provision in Customs Aircraft Regulations announced in the Gazette last night. The regulatons make provisions for forced landings and also outline the procedure to be followed by pilots in obtaining Customs clearances on landing in the Dominion for the first time. They also stipulate that aircraft leaving New Zealand shall not depart except from a Customs aerodrome or without a proper Customs clearance. Any person committing a breach of regulation Is liable 'to a penalty of £SO.
