ONERAHI
HOCKEY DANCE. Saturday’s dance, in the Town Hall, given by the members of the Ladies’ Hockey Club, was again a great success. Radio gramophone music was furnished, and dancing went merrily till midnight. Something new was the representation, in fancy dress, of various characters. All were excellently portrayed, first prize going to Mrs Rawlins as a Chinese lady, while the prize for children was awarded to Miss Margie Mason. A dainty supper fl was served, and Mr W. Spratt made a genial M.C. Personal, Mr A. W. Oxley, after a three weeks’ visit, left on Thursday, for Cambridge, en route for his home in Dunedin. ,
