AHIPARA Miss Mercia Urlich’s carnival com-i mittee held a successful function in the Ahipara Hill Hall on *' Saturday evening. Mr Ivan Stanton was M.C. The Ahipara Hill String Orchestra supplied the music. The Mionte Carlo waltz was won by Mrs J. Brewer and Mr W. Noble. Miss Dot Urlich was the winner of the bbx of chocolates competition. The sale 1 of baskets made during the evening considerably {augmented the funds.
