There was a keen demand .throughout. Heavy baconers sbld from £2 19/ to £3 3/; mediumweight, £2 14/ to £2 18/; lights £2 11/ to £2 13/; heavy porkers, £2 8/_. to £2 10/; mediumweight, 39/ to £2 6/; light, 35/ to 38/; choppers, to £2 10/. Store pigs were penned in large numbers, and, as in the case of fat pigs, a ready sale resulted at rates in advance of those of the previous week. Good stores sold from 29/ to 33/; others, 25/ to 28/; slips, 21/ to 24/; best weaners, 17/ to 20/6; others, 14/ to 16/; sows, in pig, to £2 12/. A good entfy of cattle sold at late rates.
