Strange but true! Once upon a time Ifirls had such a horror of smoking that they’ve been known to break off their engagements simply because their “intendeds” declined to part company with their pipes! Also on record, that the young ladies of that remote period would sometimes faint i away if they chanced) to catch a whiff of tobaccosmoke! How times have changed! Present day damsels, or some of them, would faint if deprived of their cigarettes for half-an-hour. And) excellent judges of the weed are these same modern misses! They generally “roll their own,” and show a marked preference for Riverhead Gold or Desert Gold, two of the very finest cigarette tobaccos, by the way, manufactured. You can tell cigarettes made of these beautiful blends by their distinctive flavour and matchless aroma. The three other genuine toasted brands, Cavendish, Navy Cut No. 3 (Bulldog), and Cut Plug No. 10 (Bullshead) are popular with pipe smokers everywhere. All five varieties are exquisitely pure and perfectly harmless. There’s no nicotine worth mentioning in “toast- ‘ ed.” That’s why! J5lO
