WOMAN INSTANTLY KILLED
STRUCK BY MOTOR CYCLE. RIDER SERIOUSLY HURT. [Per Press Association. — Covyright.A WELLINGTON, This Day. The junction of Onslow Road and Hutt Road was the scene of another accident last evening, when an unidentified woman was knocked down by a motor cyclist and killed instantly. The motor cyclist, Mr David Lament, aged 24, of 25, Bolton Street, Petone, is in hospital in a fairly serious condition. The woman received a compound fracture of the skull and a compound fracture of the upper section of her left leg and other injuries to her legs. Mr Lament was flung from his machine and received extensive facial injuries and concussion.
