ACCOUNTANT ADMITS GUILT. (Per P'tpks Association. — ~ nruyr'oTit.'i CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A plea of guilty was made by Henry Frederick George Cox, for 16 years accountant to the firm of J. J. Niven and Co., Ltd., when he was charged in the Magistrate's Court yesterday with the theft of £557 Is 2d. the property of the firm. It was alleged that the misappropriation had taken place from November of last year till June this year. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
