RECOVERY OF NOTE ISSUE. STATE DEPOSITS DECREASE. [Per Press Association. — Copyright . 3 WELLINGTON, This Day. The Reserve Bank return for the week ended July 15 was gazetted last night. The statement is balanced at £26,584,749, or £250,568 less than at the close, of the previous week. The principal fall on the liabilities side is in the deposits of the State, which are £214,224 Tower than in the previous return. The trading bank deposits are also £40,949 lower. The note issue, after a continuous decrease extending over many weeks, showed a slight recovery, there having been an increase of £725 for the week. Sterling exchange shows the only movement of any note among the assets, there being a decrease of £246,625, Subsidiary coin is less by £2,286.
