MANGONUI MATCHES. Results of basketball games played at Mangonui on Saturday afternoon were: — Oruru beat Mangonui, B—3;8 —3; Oruru beat Kaeo. 3—l; Mangonui beat Totara North, 2—l; Kaeo B beat Mangonui School 2 —o; Kaeo A beat Mangonui. 2 —o; Totara North beat Oruru. 2—5. The representative match between the Whangaroa and Mangonui Counties was won by the latter by 4—o. The players chosen for the Whangaroa County wore selected from the Kaeo and Totara North teams, and those for the Mangonui County from Oruru and Mangonui.
