ANNUAL RUGBY GAMES
SOUTHERN HIGH SCHOOLS. [per Press Associav<m.~-Covyrignt.) INVERCARGILL. This Day. The annual Rugby matches between Southland and Waitaki Boys’ High Schools were played in fine weather and on a heavy ground at Rugby Park yesterday afternoon. Waitaki won the main game by 10 points to 8, and the Southland junior game by 14 points to 11. The standard of play in the senior game was disappointing, the backs handling poorly at intervals. Southland led 3 —o at half-time, and in the second spell led B—o,8 —0, but the visitors won the match with two converted tries. _______
