FERTILISER SUBSIDY
REQUEST FOR RENEWAL

A subsidy of 2/6 a ton to manufacturers of fertiliser was granted by the Government at the end of last June conditional on the' selling price of superphosphate not exceeding £4 a ton. The subsidy will expire next Saturday,: and those interested in the fertiliser business are negotiating with the Minister of Agriculture regarding a renewal of the subsidy. ! The Government’s decision will probably be announced at the end of the week. , '
