Heavy Rain In Auckland. About 2 o’clock this afternoon torrential rain descended in the Auckland city and kept on until 3 p.m., when there were signs of a break. However, the downfall was sufficiently heavy to .flood the lower part of Queen Street, and it is certain that considerable damage will be done to stocks kept in cellars in that vicinity?
