WHEAT PRICES
FRENCH MINIMUM LAW. NUMBER OF TRANSACTIONS. (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, December 27. The Paris correspondent of the “Financial Times” says that under the new wheat law the legal obligation not to sell wheat below 108 francs a quinta) has disappeared. The restoration of a free market, in spite of the holiday attendance yesterday, resulted in a number of transactions at from 75 to 85 francs for three to four months’ delivery.
