WAIOMIO DANCE
7 The Waiomio Institute held a dance On . December 21 in the Waiomio Hall. It was . well supported in spite 'of wet weather. Mr G. Rosanoski was M.C. ’ • The Monte Carlo was won by Mr & Martin and partner, the spot waltz by Mr Dickenson Jnr. and Miss Sullivan, the second Monte Carlo by Mr and, Mrs P. Brown, and the winners of the . Christmas cake and turkey were Mr S. S.’Peters and Mr J. S. Clark respectively. ■ Supper .was provided by members of the Women's Institute. Mr S, Peters cut . the cake. : ; On. behalf of the Women’s Institute, Mr. Rosanoski thanked all comers, and those- who helped to make the evening a- success. Special thanks were given to Mr Clark for the voluntary services given. A vocal item was given by Motatau and -Waiomio girls, and this was followed by an action song. ’
