Having received a wireless message from Rear-Admiral Byrd to await tractor parts due at Auckland by the Mariposa on December 29. the Byrd expedition ship Bear of Oakland, now in Dunedin, will not sail until December 31 or January 1. The vessel was to have sailed today.
