WHANGAREI RACING CLUB GOOD WEATHER CONTINUES LARGE PUBLIC PATRONAGE EVENTS AT KENSINGTON PARK The success which attended the first day of the Whangarei Racing Club’s spring meeting at Kensington Park assumes every likelihood of being repeated this afternoon, the concluding phase of the fixture, as fine weather still favours the occasion and the attendance of the public is apparently much larger than on Thursday. All the well-known facilities for the comfort and pleasure of patrons are again in evidence at the Park, with its well-equipped : appointments and naturally picturesque surroundings, while the class of sport provided affords continuous interest for the spectators. In thte absence of the Whangarei Municipal Band, which is attending a contest in Auckland, music of a cheerful character is provided ' by a gramophone with loud-speaker attachment.

Results of the respective events up to the time of the “Advocate” going to press are as follow:
