TRANSPORT LICENSING
No. 1 AUTHORITY. KAIKOHE SITTING. The No, 1 Licensing Authority, the members of which are Messrs W. Jones (Whangarei, chairman), A. C. Yarborough (Hokianga), and F. A. Jones (Dargaville) are at present on a Northland tour. A sitting was held at Kaikohe yesterday, when the following cases were dealt with:— An amendment to the present Here-kino-Rangiahua passenger service was granted to E. A. G. Gray. E. Morfette, Kaikohe, and H, J. Templeton, Okaihau, were granted goods licenses, and J. Klinac, of Waipapa, was given a renewal of a goods service. Deferred decisions were dealt with in cases heard in Dargaville and Rawene. W. Curel was granted a renewal of his Dargaville-Waiotira passenger license, certain restrictions being lifted. Goods services licenses were granted W. T. Evlson, Mangawhare, G. Stallworthy, Aratapu, W. W. Bell, Ruawai, and F. P. Beckham, Tangaihi. Sunde Bros., Dargaville were refused a goods license. M. J. A. Gornie was granted an addition vehicle license and the Northern Wairoa Co-op. Dairy Co, was granted two additional vehicle authorities. T. Baker, Motukaraka, was refused a license for goods, and M. Beazley, Kohukohu, was granted a goods license.
