ALARMING REPORT. UNDERGROUND AERODROME
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, October 11
The |‘Daily Herald” gives prominence to a ‘story from a special correspondent, stating that when en route from Frankfurt-on-Oder to Dresden he saw, near Cottbus, a large section of the new German Air Force flying in military formation. He counted 150 machines. No aerodrome was visible, but he says he learned that there was in the vicinity a concealed underground aerodrome of vast dimensions, where General Goering keeps part of his secret force.
