ELDERLY MAN PASSES
INJURIES PROVE FATAL. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. An elderly man, Mr Alfred Reginald Newbury, of Sydenham, who received head injuries when lie was knocked down by a motor cycle in Carlisle Street. Sydenham, on Friday, died in hospital on Saturday. He did not regain consciousness. The motor cyclist. Mr Victor Sayers, of New Brighton, is still in hospital, but his condition is improving. He also suffered head injuries.
