PROPOSED RE-ESTABLISHMENT (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, September 16. The Dublin correspondent of the “Sunday Times” says that a new menace, is developing in the plan to re-establish the Irish citizen army, which was affiliated with Labour and fought against the British in 1916, the leader, James Connelly, being wounded and subsequently executed. The army was raised in 1913 to assist in the formation of a workers’ republic to re-establish order-, combat Fascism and secure a Socialist republic. The rules permit the use of arms to realise the goal.
