MARRIAGE AND BUMPS Those about to many have forever been the subject of much advice. The latest peril, they are -warned, is that unless the bride has the head “bumps” which indicate capacity for love of children and home, she may be totally unsuitable —at least, so assert the phrenologists. 'The smoker seems to be an equally vulnerable subject for advice, but like those about to marry, is probably content to rely upon his own sense of judgment. To invite attention to the perils of smoking is not the purpose of this advertisement. We are content to say that von will feel better for smoking Red Shield (Dark) and Blue Shield Medium), They are New Zealand tobaccos at their best —and toasted to a turn. There are two special processes which contribute to the excellence of these tobaccos. Firstly, the leaf has been perfectly cured by means of the Flue Barn which experience has proved to be the ideal method. All risks of open air drying are eliminated as the temperature in the Flue Barn can be regulated to the ideal degree, and thus the qualities of the plants are sealed within the leaf itself. Toasting, the other process, fully develops these qualities if the tobacco is toasted to a turn.
