TRAVELLER BADLY HURT
, CAR COLLIDES WITH POLE. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. A visitor to Invercargill, Mr George Townshend, a commercial traveller, who occasionally visits Auckland, was taken to hospital last evening suffering from head injuries received when the motor car he was driving came into collision with an electric light pole. His condition is reported to be serious, but not critical.
