INQUEST ADJOURNED

TE AWAMUTU, This Day,
Mr Frank Jary, who, Avith his Avife, A\as burned to death in their homestead, avus horn in Norfolk, England. He came to New Zealand 28 years ago. In 1908 he Avas married at Palmerston North to Miss Agnes Maxwell, a daughter of Mi - William MaxAvell, a farmer of Buunythorpe. Both Mr and Mrs Jary were highly esteemed iu the district, where they have lived for IS years. Mr Herbert Jary, of Claudelamls, is a brother of the late Mr Jary. The origin of the fire is unknown. It is believed to have started in Mr and Mrs Jary’s bedroom.
When an inquest Avas opened yesterday afternoon before the District Coroner, Mr G. A. Empson, .T.P., evidence Acas given by the two eldest daughters who escaped from the burning house. Mr Roberts and Mr Mann also ga\'e evidence and the inquiry was adjourned sine die.
