Teschemaker Memorial Steeplechase, of 90 sovs; about two miles ami a. half. —(2) Night Club, 0.11 (Beale), .1; (d) Snowy Dawn, 9.0, 2; (1) Willow Glen, 10,10, 3. Also started: (7) Antrim Boy (pulled up), (d) Andy, (3) Slaun--1 atho (ran off), (4) Royal Buck (fell), (8) Marco Polo (fell). Four lengths. Marco Polo led for six furlongs, ami lost bis rider. Royal Buck then took up the running, but Night Club was in charge half a mile from home, and led to the last fence just clear of Royal Buck, who fell, leaving Night Club a, winner by four lengths from Snowy Dawn, with Willow Glen, tbo only other horse to complete the course, twelve lengths away. Time —5.3.1.
Hunters’ Plate, of (50 sovs; one mile ami a, quarter. —(9) Velvet, 10.8 (Stuck), 1; (3) Eaton Hall, 12.1, 2; (-1) Peterette, 12.1, 3. Also started: (1) Morcpork, (7) Father O’Flynn, (0) Pharaoh, (d) Prince Tractor, (S) Gallivanter, (3) Grenade, (10) Master Glance. Three lengths each way. Pharaoh was fourth. Time—2.2o 4-d.
Claremont Handicap, of 00 sovs; one mile and 35 yards. — (10) Palermo, 0.0 (Dooley), 1; (-) Cleaner, 8.5, 2; (S) Xiggerhead, 7.0, 3. Also started: (0) Huriingliam, (1) Silver Sight, (3) Gns-. tavo, (-1) Haulbowlinc, (0) Chhota, (7) Locksley, (5) Pert Pacer, (11) Beau' Gcste. Palermo, Xiggerhead, Gustavo and Cleaner were the early leaders, and at the top head Palermo and Haulbowline, who had made up ground after starting badly, were in charge from Cleaner and Xiggerhead. Palermo and: Cleaner drew out in the straight, and Palermo won by a head from Cleaner, who beat Xiggerhead by two lengths. Silver Sight was fourth. Time—l.lo O • c. -o.
