USES FOR OLD BLANKETS.

Your blankets are never so old that they have to be thrown away. Here, are -some clover ideas for making good and praetieal use of them. Old blankets take on a new lease of life if they are turned, like sheets, sides to middle, .joined with a flat sewn seam, and used as under blankets. When too worn for this they can bo folded once or twice, according to size, then wadded with a running- stitch, and they will make excellent coverlets for the foot of the bed.
