KING’S SILVER JUBILEE
EXTENSIVE PROGRAMME. EMPIRE FAMILY GATHERING. (Times Cable.) (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 25.. The Cabinet has approved the programme for next year’s celebration of the Silver Jubilee of the King’s asceh- ' sion to the Throne. A general holiday Avill be proclaimed for May G, the actual date of the ascension in 1910. The children Avill .be specially entertained. The King and Queen will attend" a thanksgiving sendee at St, Paul’s Cathedral. : ! A Naval RcvieAv, at av hi eh. the Primer' Ministers of the overseas Dominions will be present, will also be held. - —• It is intended to make the occasion an Empire family celebrations. .
