BOXER INJURED
BLOW ON NECK CONDITION SERIOUS During the amateur boxing tournament at the Town Hall last, evening, L. Mahuuga, of Pa.taua,. in the .first round of his bout with M, Rika, of Parakao, reeeivcd a severe blow' on the neck, which necessitated his removal to hospital. Mahunga received a blow on the Adam’s apple, and as his neck swelled alarmingly, he was rushed to hospital. The exact nature of his injuries-is not yet known, but his condition , is described as serious.
