The judges stated that the standard of birds in all classes was of a very high order. The following prize awards appeared against the names of exhibitor? from Whangarei: — Harvey Challenge Cup, for best Orpington pullet in. utility section.. —Mr R. R. Peters. Hanson Cup, for best Silver Wyandotte. —Mr R. R. Peters. .Mrs J. A. B. Tiellaby's Cup, for best vonng bird in utility section,---.Mr R. 11. Peters (Black Orpington cockerel). Fancy poultry, Orpingtons. —Black hen: Mrs Donaldson A Buff hen, cockerel and pullet; Mrs Donaldson 1. Wyandottes. —Silver hen: R. P. Peters .1 and cup. .Bantams. —Buff Pekin, cock and cockered: .1. C. Skipper 1. Pullet; J. C. Skipper 1 and A Utility poultry, Leghorns.—White, hen: X. Dickey A Wyandottes. —Silver pullet: R. 11. Peters I. Holden cockerel: Mrs Donaldson 1.
