EMPIRE CAMPAIGN, NATIONAL COLLECTION DAY. (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, May 2. On (he suggestion of (lie Duke of York, Empire Day is to Vie adopted as a national collecting day in connection with the Empire Cancer Campaign in Britain and'overseas. The public will bo asked to aid the research centres in Britain and the Dominions. The King has sent £IOO and the Queen £SO. Numerous mayors have organised flag days.
