TEARING TORNADO
INpiAN VISITATION RIVER CRAFT ’ FOUNDER MANY PEOPLE MISSING (Received 9 a.m.) . CALCUTTA, May 2. Twenty people wore killed and a large number injured, while considerable damage was done to property, by a tornado which passed over the town of Sylhet and its suburbs last night. Numerous houses were blown down and telegraphic communications werecut. i A Government launch and a number of cargo-laden country boats sank in the-River Suma. Many people are reported missing.
