Whangarei athletes had a day out at Ta.'ngowahine, the last of the district sports meetings, on Saturday, and returned with most of the prize money. To A. Angelo fell the 100 yards and the 220 yards handicap, while F. Jones accounted for the 440 yards and the half : railgr-T' The Sports Club had a fine day for the fixture, and there was a fair attendance. Due to the services of an jenergetie committee, the meeting went smoothly, from start-to finish, arid a varied programme provided interest for all the spectators. Results were: — .
