DEFENCE AMENDMENT ACCEPTED. BLUE SHIFTS BILL HELD UP. ('Received 0 a.m.) DUBLIN', March 22. The Bail today accepted the Senate’s amendment to the Defence Forces Bill. The Senate rejected the second reading of the Blue Shirts Bill, banning the wearing of uniforms. This means that the Bill will Be held up for 15 months (unless there is a general election in the meantime), when it will automatically become law after 60 da vs.
