AUCKLAND CHAMPION. McMASTER OF STANLEY. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. The well-known champion of the Stanley Bowling Club, Roy MeMaster, who has won the singles title of his own club on numerous occasions,,succeeded in following it up by winning the champion of champions of the Auckland Bowling Centre yesterday afternoon for the first time, thereby annexing a title which the president of the centre, Mr Raymond .Sheath, described as the “golden crown” of Auckland bowling, during his congratulatory speech, while presenting the winning cup. Results of yesterday's play are:— • Sixth round. —R. MeMaster (Stanley) a .bye; IV. J. Short (Pukekohe) 22, beat A. Moon (To Papapa) 13; W, A. Lancaster (Carlton) 24, beat W. Brcmnev (West End) 13. . Seventh round. — 24, beat Short 7;'MeMaster 24, boat Moon 4/, Semi-final.—MeMaster 20, , beat Short 11. J Final. —MeMaster 22, beat Lancaster 14.
