Air A. J. Staliworthy, M.P. for Eoskill, left by the Alonowai for Sydney today at the invitation of members of the Commonwealth Parliament. Mrs Btall.worthy accompanied him. The Rev. W, Constable and his wife, the Rev. Wilna Constable, w’ho have ■been joint ministers of the .’Auckland Unitarian Church for the past five years, left Auckland by the Alonowai today for ' Sydney on their -way to England. The Rev. C. Coleridge Harper, Rector of Ford, Northumberland, and Airs Harper left. England on March 8 on a short visit to New Zealand, travelling by the Rangitata. Air Harper’s trip is chiefly concerned -with promoting the work of the Melanesian Mission.
