Mr A. J. Stallworthy; M.P. for Roakill, will loove by flic Monowai for Sydney tomorrow at tho invitation : o'! members of the Commonwealth Parliament, Airs Stalhvorthy will accompany him. Tho Rev. Alfred Drake, Vicar of Hikurangi, leaves Auckland by the Monowai tomorrow for Sydney, where lie will join the Orient liner, Orsova for London. The Lev. I), C. Bates has Jbeen appointed to fill Air Drake’s place during; his absence in England, Sir Montague and Lady Barlow, who were married at Christchurch last veek, are at Rotorua. Sir Montague Barlow is a former Minister of Labour in the British Cabinet, and Lady Barlow was formerly Miss Boris Louis Reed. They will leave later in the month for England. The Rev. D. F. Mackenzie, Presidency Senior Chaplain of the Church of Scotland, Bombay, India, arrived at Auckland by the Monowai yesterday on his return to Scotland on furlough. He will leave Auckland on Friday on an extended tour of the Dominion prior to leaving Wellington on April 13 for | England, j Among teaching appointments made by the Auckland Education Board to-. day are: —Mr S.
