“The King’s humanity-is proved.by the fact that he has urged the Prime Minister, Mr MacDonald, to persliade the Government to restore the unemployment cuts,” said Mr J. McGovern, Labour member for Shettleston, Glasgow, in a speech at Blackburn, Lancashire, where a party of hungermarchers on their way to London arrived today. ■>
Mr McGovern added” that the King and the Prince of Wales knew there was tremendous suffering and hardship throughout the country.
