ASSOCIATION PROTEST. (Per Press Association.— Copyright.) WANGANUI, This Day. The Wanganui Cricket Association last evening registered a protest against the action of the New Zealand Cricket Council in omitting Wanganui claims for inclusion in the itinerary of the Australian team, in spite of definite assurances received by the Wanganui delegates at the annual meeting in November. Wanganui, it is stated, agreed to forego a match five years ago to enable an extra test match to be played in Auckland, and it w r as therefore entitled to consideration.
